Our Team
Citizen Capital Partenaires is built on the complementarity of its people. Our team brings together investment professionals, sector specialists, and former entrepreneurs who share a common conviction that capital can be a force for genuine social and environmental progress. Each member contributes distinct expertise — in finance, in the sectors we invest in, and in the operational realities of building companies that matter. We work as a genuinely collaborative team, believing that the best investment decisions emerge from rigorous collective analysis rather than individual judgment alone.
Matthieu Dordain
Managing Partner
Matthieu has led Citizen Capital Partenaires since its early years, shaping the firm's investment philosophy and its approach to impact measurement. With a background in private equity and a long-standing commitment to social innovation, he brings both financial rigour and strategic vision to the firm's leadership. He is a regular contributor to public debates on the role of finance in addressing systemic social challenges.
Camille Renard
Partner, Startups & SME Strategy
Camille oversees the firm's startup and SME investment activity, with particular expertise in healthcare, education, and future-of-work ventures. Before joining Citizen Capital, she spent seven years as a venture investor and two years as Chief Operating Officer of a health technology company, giving her a hands-on understanding of what entrepreneurs need beyond capital. She leads several board mandates across the portfolio.
Antoine Lefèvre
Partner, Agricultural Transition
Antoine developed Citizen Capital's agricultural strategy from the ground up, drawing on a decade of experience in rural development finance and agroecology policy. He works closely with farming cooperatives, land agencies, and environmental organisations to structure investments that support genuine ecological transitions. His work has helped place agricultural land portage at the centre of mainstream impact investment conversation in France.
Sofia Marchand
Head of Impact & Measurement
Sofia is responsible for the firm's impact methodology, portfolio monitoring, and annual Mission and Impact Report. She holds a doctorate in social policy and has previously advised international development organisations on outcome measurement frameworks. At Citizen Capital, she ensures that impact analysis is fully integrated into investment decisions rather than treated as a retrospective reporting exercise.
Julien Kowalski
Investment Director, Social Impact Contracts
Julien leads the firm's work on social impact contracts, managing relationships with both social enterprise partners and public sector stakeholders. He previously worked at the intersection of government and civil society, advising on the design of results-based financing mechanisms for employment and social cohesion programmes. His deep knowledge of public policy makes him a valued bridge between Citizen Capital's portfolio and its institutional partners.
