Who We Are
Citizen Capital Partenaires was founded in 2008 with a clear and deliberately unfashionable conviction: that financial capital, rigorously deployed, can and must serve the fundamental needs of society. At a time when impact investing was still a marginal idea in European finance, our founders chose to build a firm around this thesis — and have held to it consistently ever since. Over fifteen years, we have grown from a pioneering experiment into a recognised reference in the French and European impact investment landscape. We have deployed €275M across four successive impact funds, backing hundreds of entrepreneurs whose work spans healthcare, housing, education, nutrition, energy, biodiversity, and agricultural transition. Our investment approach is built on three interconnected pillars — Live, Fulfil, and Transform — which together map the conditions necessary for a dignified, empowered, and sustainable life. We do not treat impact as a reporting exercise or a marketing layer. It is the analytical foundation of every investment decision we make. Each company in our portfolio is evaluated on the depth, breadth, and durability of the change it produces, alongside the quality of its business model. We are proud to have maintained our standards during periods when market pressure pushed many peers to soften their criteria.
